We help and care for horses rescued  from abandonment, slaughter, abuse and neglect.
They are looked after in a natural environment with daily attention and all welfare needs provided for.
We look for adoptive homes for some of the horses, with special people who meet the requirements and can give a permanent home forever for these animals.

Our mission

Our aim is to cover the care and maintenance costs of each animal and to be able to rescue more horses.

Other objectives are to maintain our land, have better infrastructure, installations for sick or weak horses and be able to offer a safe and comfortable home for the  recuperation of the horse or any animal found in a life threatening situation.
We hope that with your support we can continue our dedication of caring for these animals who without us would have had a life or the premature ending of their life full of suffering.

There is a story behind every one of our rescues. Some are local cases where they are brought to us or we have been alerted to a case of abandonment or neglect. Other cases have come to us from further afield where we have arranged rescue and transportation in collaboration with other organisations or concerned members of the public.

Once rescued the horses immediate medical and welfare needs are attended to and a place of safety is given. We then begin the often long process of rehabilitation, treating and training using natural, rational and humane methods.

We are lucky enough to have access to expert farriers and a selection of local and specialist equine vets.

The horses are available for people to be in contact with as we hope to educate and teach about the true nature of the horse and how best to care for and work with them.
We have open days and summer camps where children (and adults) can visit us and learn various aspects of horse care.
